Are there any taxes or import duties to pay?

As we are a UK company, we do not have to charge you any sales tax. A small amount of sales tax may be charged by US Customs; this usually amounts to $20 and is requested 7-10 days after delivery by the delivery courier (usually FedEx).

Unlike most ultrasound machines marketed for dog breeders - which are manufactured to Chinese specifications and not international ones - the ScanPad complies with international safety guidelines (including the FDA). It monitors and controls its ultrasonic outputs at all times, and its thermal index will never exceed 1 degree.
